The Utah Jazz looked good when Donovan Mitchell was there, but it seemed like everything fell apart after his departure. They’ve got some really talented pieces in Lauri Markkanen and Keyonte George, and under head coach Will Hardy, Utah’s young roster showed flashes of something real– defensive grit, balanced scoring, and a chemistry that finally seemed to click.
This year, they’ve added some solid support in Kevin Love, Kyle Anderson, Jusuf Nurkić, and Georges Niang. Now, it’s about trying to put it all together and claw their way back into playoff contention. With Walker Kessler anchoring the paint and Markkanen continuing to play at an All-Star level, this team looks ready to get busy in the West.
Keep reading to find out where, when, and how to watch the Jazz throughout the 2025–2026 season.

What channels have Utah Jazz games?
Most Utah Jazz games air locally for free (once again) on the team’s traditional pre-RSN home KJZZ 14, with every matchup also available through the team’s official streaming platform, Jazz+. This service gives fans in Utah and surrounding areas access to live broadcasts, pregame shows, and replays without needing a cable subscription.
Take note: Jazz fans without an over-the-air broadcast option in parts of Idaho and Wyoming can stream virtually every game through an exclusive KJZZ feed on Fubo.
For fans outside the region, NBA League Pass remains the best way to catch every Jazz game throughout the 2025–2026 season, though blackout rules still apply to nationally televised matchups.
National coverage for Utah has expanded this year, with more games airing on ESPN and ABC. NBC has also picked up select Jazz matchups as part of its new Sunday night basketball lineup. On the streaming front, Amazon Prime Video and Peacock will both carry exclusive NBA games throughout the season.
2025–2026 Utah Jazz TV schedule
The 2025–2026 season is hopefully a turning point for the Jazz, who have embraced having a young and steadily climbing team after Jordan Clarkson and Collin Sexton’s departure. Rising guard Keyonte George enters his third season and is expected to be more assertive, while rookies Ace Bailey (5th pick) and Walter Clayton Jr. (18th pick) join a team that also includes seasoned stalwarts Lauri “The Finnisher” Markkanen and Walker Kessler.
With the roster trending younger, the Jazz are aiming to compete rather than slide into Western Conference irrelevance. Check the TV schedule below for all tip‐offs and channel details as the season unfolds.

Best TV plans for watching the Utah Jazz games
To follow the Utah Jazz this season, there are a few options at your disposal, but DIRECTV STREAM remains the most complete choice. It’s one of the few live TV services that carries KJZZ 14 (the Jazz’s local broadcast partner), which airs the majority of regional games. It also includes national channels like ESPN, ABC, NBC, and NBA TV, giving you all the primetime matchups.
I like DIRECTV STREAM for its sports-friendly interface because it lets you pick your favorite teams, record every Jazz broadcast automatically, and watch on virtually any device. And, with unlimited DVR storage included, you won’t miss a single highlight.
For full coverage, you’ll still need separate subscriptions to Amazon Prime Video and Peacock, which stream exclusive NBA games throughout the season. And for fans outside Utah’s broadcast region, NBA League Pass allows you to watch out-of-market Jazz games, though blackout restrictions still apply.
Standalone in-market TV package for Jazz games

If you’re a Utah Jazz fan who wants to skip the bulky live TV bundles, go with the KJZZ 14 app and the Jazz+ streaming service. For $19.99 per month or $125.50 per year, Jazz+ gives in-market fans access to every locally televised game, along with pregame and postgame shows, classic replays, and exclusive team content.
Take note: You can also subscribe to SEG+ for $174.99 and get every Utah Mammoth local broadcast in addition to Jazz coverage.
Jazz+ runs through the NBA app or the Utah Jazz team app and works across all major devices, including Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android, and iOS. It’s a simple, affordable way to follow the Jazz without cable–whether you’re watching from Salt Lake City or anywhere in Utah’s local broadcast region.
Subscribers can also access bonus content like interviews with head coach Will Hardy, behind-the-scenes features, and player spotlights on stars such as Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler. For local fans, Jazz+ is the easiest, most direct way to stay connected all season.
How to watch the Utah Jazz for free
Watching Jazz basketball doesn’t have to drain your wallet. You can catch several games for free by taking advantage of streaming free trials from platforms like Fubo, DIRECTV, and YouTube TV. These trials typically last 5–7 days and include access to national channels such as ABC, ESPN, and NBC—perfect for tuning in to marquee Jazz matchups.
Another no-cost option is a digital antenna, which lets in-market fans in Utah and parts of Idaho, Nevada, and Wyoming pick up locally aired Jazz games on KJZZ 14. You’ll also get free access to national broadcasts that air on ABC and NBC. And for fans on the go, the NBA app sometimes features complimentary radio coverage or select live streams, no matter where you are.
How to watch the Utah Jazz FAQ
Can I watch Jazz games over the air without a subscription?
Yes, local fans in Utah can tune in to KJZZ-TV Channel 14 using a digital antenna. This free, over-the-air option broadcasts select Jazz games in HD for viewers across the Salt Lake City market.
What options are there for fans outside the Utah region?
If you live outside the Jazz’s broadcast zone, NBA League Pass is your best bet to catch non-national Jazz games. Just note that blackout restrictions apply to in-market and nationally televised matchups, so check the NBA blackout rules before subscribing.
What is the cheapest way to watch the Utah Jazz?
For local fans, the most cost-effective way to watch most Jazz games is on KJZZ-TV using an over-the-air (OTA) antenna for a one-time purchase of about $50. Unfortunately, for rabid Jazz fans outside of Utah and the surrounding areas, catching most games requires combining a few services. You’ll need a local cable package and a Peacock Premium plan, along with an NBA League Pass subscription for complete coverage.
